Biddy has recently joined Seth Meyers, Jordan Peele, Kay Cannon, Ike Barinholtz, and more on the impressive list of alumni hailing from the world renowned comedy theater, Boom Chicago, where she spent the past four years performing full-time in the cast as a professional improv comedian. She’s not afraid, on and offstage, to face any problem head-on, which is why she only dates hecklers.
In addition to performing in the cast 6 times a week, Biddy joined the corporate writing staff at Boom Chicago creating and performing tailored content for a variety of businesses including but not limited to Nike, Netflix, Tommy Hilfiger, Ajax, Johnson & Johnson, DSM Dyneema, Software AG, Booking.com, ING, LeanIn, Mendix, Phillips, Meijer + Walters, NBC and Adyen.
Offstage, Biddy managed the cast, maintained show quality and launched the Boom Chicago Academy as the Assistant Artistic Director.
Biddy also taught for the Boom Chicago Academy and coached Boom’s first-ever community Harold team, Grover, and highly popular mixed-form team, Pointing at Fingers. In her spare time, her passion was working as the Director for Interacting, a program created by Boom Chicago’s CEO Saskia Maas, which teaches improv comedy to students on the Autism Spectrum. During her time at Interacting she created the tailored curriculum and spent Sundays as the head teacher for the program.
Biddy grew up in Mechanicsburg, PA (“famous” for our plentiful car dealerships). After moving to Philadelphia and graduating Temple University, Biddy did what every proud millennial did and put her diploma in a safe place to collect dust. Then she moved to California. There she studied at The Groundlings Theatre and The Upright Citizens Brigade before falling in infatuation and moved to London to pursue the greatest soon-to-be breakup story of all time. In London she finished her improv comedy studies at The Free Association before she was scouted to audition for Boom Chicago.
